Saved items return as practice — typing prompts, cloze cards, weekly tests. Spaced timing brings them back when forgetting curves say it's useful, not when guilt does.

Common questions

Yes. Both the Chrome extension and the Mac app have an anonymous mode with 10 lifetime AI actions (Save, Improve, Translate) to try the loop. Sign in to keep your captures across sessions and lift the limit.

No. The web app works on its own — read books from the shelf, add Word Libraries, practise and track your progress. The Chrome extension and the Mac app add capture from everything else you read.

macOS 12 or later, plus the Accessibility permission so it can read the text you select — it never reads your clipboard. The app is signed and notarized by Apple. On macOS 15 and later it can also translate on-device: free, offline and no credits.

Your data stays in KeepReap's database. We do not sell it or run ad-tech tracking. Google is used only when you choose Google sign-in; email/password sign-in stays first-party. SOC2 work is out of scope while we are in Early Access.

There is a Free tier with daily capture and monthly AI credit quotas, plus Plus and Pro tiers with higher limits. See the billing page once you are signed in.

The extension is Chrome-only for now — Firefox and Safari come after Early Access. On a Mac you don't have to wait: the Mac app reads your selection at the system level, so it works in Safari, Firefox and every other app.
